Asian Atlantic Industries Names Andrew Lietz to Advisory Board

Stratham, NH (August, 2001) - Asian Atlantic Industries, Inc., a leading global independent distributor of computer components and peripherals, recently named former Hadco President and CEO Andy Lietz as the company's Principal Advisor.

Mr. Lietz is a Managing Director of Rye Capital Professional Services, LLC, a company he established in 2000, after 16 years at Hadco Inc., a $1.0B industry leader in Printed Circuit Boards, where he most recently served as its President and CEO. Also, Mr. Lietz is the Executive Chairman for Clare Corporation, a leader in the design and manufacture of analog and mixed signal semiconductor products, and is an active board member for Amphenol, one of the largest manufacturers of interconnect products in the world.

In April, Mr. Lietz earned international recognition as "The Most Influential Person in the PCB Industry in 2000", according to an industry-wide poll published by PCFab Magazine. Assisting Andy in his advisory role will be Robert Lietz, Co-Founder and Managing Director of Rye Capital Professional Services, LLC.

Mr. Lietz's appointment to AAI's advisory board comes on the heels of AAI earning it's own national recognition in June as the Fifth Fastest-Growing Privately Owned Company in the U.S. for 2000, according to Dun & Bradstreet. AAI's revenue was $42.5M in 2000.
