    Tom Mahoney, Founder and CEO

    A visionary business leader, Tom Mahoney founded AAI in 1998 to deliver unrivaled client support based on innovative technology and services. AAI's consistent success is rooted in Tom's integrity, energy, and cultivation of sound business relationships within the technology industry.

    Prior to founding AAI, Tom served as Director of Asia Pacific Rim Operations for a major international independent electronics distributor. Under his leadership, the Asian Pacific Market division grew into a major profit center with over $50 million in sales and $100 million in purchasing support.

    AAI's consistent growth and award-winning Dun & Bradstreet business rankings are all testament to Tom's principle-centered leadership. His ability to identify and cultivate high-quality associates and management excellence has earned him and AAI a respected industry reputation.

     

    James Connelly, Vice President and Co-founder

    James Connelly oversees AAI's operations, including inventory control and logistics, as well as the technical aspects of the business.

    Prior to co-founding AAI, James served as Purchasing Agent for the Asia Pacific division of an international independent electronics distributor. AAI's consistent growth and robust position in the global electronics marketplace is testament to his integrity, ROI-focused management, and ability to forecast and leverage market trends.

     

    Mike Novak, Vice President of Business Development

    Mike Novak is responsible for overseeing all aspects of business development, client support, and expansion of AAI's growth strategy. His experience includes over 18 years of marketing and business development, with a strong focus on organizational growth.

    Since joining AAI in April 2001, Mike has played key roles in developing increased market share and positioning the company as a global leader throughout several phases of company expansion.

    Previously, as Director of Business Development for a leading business-to-consumer Internet site, Mike was responsible for overseeing the company's business development direction, strategies and policies. He also served as Business Development Manager for a leading international business-to-business independent electronics distributor.

     

    Matt Lambert, Sales Manager

    As Manager of AAI's Computer Products Division, Matt Lambert is responsible for AAI's Global Sales and Purchasing Team for finished electronic goods. Matt joined AAI in 2003 and has been instrumental in driving AAI's marketshare in key regions of the world and developing new product categories.

    Prior to joining AAI, Matt held sales management roles within the telecommunications and IT industries.

     

    Paul F. Hinckley, Director of Supply Chain Management/Systems

    As Director of Supply Chain Management /Systems, Paul Hinckley works with OEMs and contract manufacturers to enhance customer access to information, creating processes and functionality unique to the OEM and contract manufacturing community. In this role, Paul brings 38 years of commercial and military semiconductor experience to AAI.

    Prior to joining AAI in 2004, Paul worked in commercial component distribution with NECX/Converge for more than 12 years. While at NECX, Paul served as a Senior Trader and Memory Manager, and subsequently became the Director of Knowledge & Content, following the company's acquisition and change to Converge LLC. In these roles, Paul created business software and processes for trade applications that supported 200 traders in an active global trading environment. Paul has patent applications pending approval by the U.S. Government relative to unique methodologies for handling data in an exchange system.

    Earlier in his career, Paul gained valuable experience in hybrid circuit component distribution through various senior positions supplying U.S. Defense and Aerospace subcontractors with MIL-SPEC high-rel components. During this time, Paul served on several Joint Electron Device Engineering Council (JEDEC) sub-committees. JEDEC is the semiconductor engineering standardization body of the Electronic Industries Alliance (EIA), a trade association that represents all areas of the electronics industry. Paul got his start as a Production Control Manager at Unitrode Corporation (now Texas Instruments).

     

    Alvaro Aldrete, Director of Sales, Latin America

    Alvaro Aldrete is responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and presenting AAI's portfolio of inventory management solutions within the growing Latin American market. Based in our Guadalajara office, Alvaro also develops and manages long-term relationships with customers throughout Mexico.

    Prior to joining AAI, Alvaro was Regional Manager for a global packaging, printing, and marketing company. He oversaw the company's Mexico operation and helped increase territory sales by 150%. Alvaro has also served as a Planner/Buyer for Flextronics International where he gained valuable experience managing the production needs for clients such as Philips and Motorola.
