    Tom Mahoney, Founder and CEO

    A visionary business leader, Tom Mahoney founded AAI in 1998 to deliver unrivaled client support based on innovative technology and services. AAI's consistent success is rooted in Tom's integrity, energy, and cultivation of sound business relationships within the technology industry.

    Prior to founding AAI, Tom served as Director of Asia Pacific Rim Operations for a major international independent electronics distributor. Under his leadership, the Asian Pacific Market division grew into a major profit center with over $50 million in sales and $100 million in purchasing support.

    AAI's consistent growth and award-winning Dun & Bradstreet business rankings are a testament to Tom's leadership. His ability to identify and cultivate high-quality associates and management excellence has helped to earn AAI a respected industry reputation.

     

    James Connelly, Vice President and Co-founder

    James Connelly oversees AAI's operations, including inventory control and logistics, as well as the technical aspects of the business.

    Prior to co-founding AAI, James served as Purchasing Agent for the Asia Pacific division of an international independent electronics distributor. His skilled, ROI-focused management and ability to forecast and leverage market trends have helped support AAI's consistent growth and robust position in the global electronics marketplace.

     

    Paul F. Hinckley, Director of Supply Chain Management/Systems

    As Director of Supply Chain Management /Systems, Paul Hinckley works with OEMs and contract manufacturers to enhance customer access to information, creating processes and functionality unique to the OEM and contract manufacturing community. In this role, Paul brings over 40 years of commercial and military semiconductor experience to AAI.

    Prior to joining AAI in 2004, Paul worked in commercial component distribution for more than 12 years with NECX/Converge. Paul first served as a Senior Trader and Memory Manager, then became the Director of Knowledge & Content. In these roles, Paul created business software and processes for trade applications that supported 200 traders in an active global trading environment. Paul holds patents for unique ways to handle data in an exchange system.

     

    John Caulfield – Chief Financial Officer

    In addition to managing AAI’s financial reporting and regulatory responsibilities, John is also responsible for helping manage the financial risks and improve the operations of the corporation.

    Before joining AAI in 2006, John served as Comptroller at International Risk Consultants, a division of National Financial Partners, Interim Controller at Lab Corp’s (formerly Path Lab, Inc.) New England Division, Assistant Controller at Path Lab, Inc., in various other financial roles in privately held companies in New England, as well as two years as an auditor in public accounting.

    John earned his Master of Business Administration degree from the Whittemore School of Business and Economics at the University of New Hampshire, and his Bachelor of Science degree from Case Western Reserve University.

     

    Ethan Jule – Vice President of Worldwide Sales

    Ethan brings almost twenty years’ experience managing sales, marketing, product development, training, and business operations to AAI.

    He oversees all aspects of the sales process and customer relations, including recruiting and retention, sales cycle management, and key account penetration. Ethan also helps to direct the efforts of our purchasing team.

    Prior to joining AAI Ethan started his own manufacturing and wholesale company that designed and produced over 30 products, several of these were “first in category” items. His company’s products were in all fifty states and were customized for Microsoft, The Olympic Committee and Turner Broadcasting, among others. He also ran the largest sales office for PC Connection, a F1000 IT reseller, where his office carried the largest annual quota and was consistently among the company’s most successful sites.

     

    Matt Martin - Director of Purchasing

    Matt is responsible for overseeing all aspects of purchasing and product management at AAI. His experience includes over 16 years of marketing, merchandising, procurement and business development.

    Matt joined AAI in 2011, focusing on better aligning purchasing to adapt to the changing market and instituting strong practices and skill sets within the purchasing environment.

    Previously, as Director of Product Management for a large B2B and Government reseller, Matt was responsible for overseeing the company's velocity products, strategic sourcing desk and reseller group. He also served as a Buyer for an office supplies retailer in retail merchandising for many years.

     

    Jack Grosslein – OEM Purchasing

    As Manager of AAI's OEM Purchasing Division, Jack Grosslein is responsible for AAI's Global OEM Semiconductor Purchasing Team.

    Jack joined AAI in 2007, having worked as a Trader, then Senior Trader at Converge for over 18 years. Specializing in establishing and growing long-term relationships with OEM customers and vendors, Jack was the only Converge trader to make President’s Club for 11 consecutive years. His trading experience, attention to detail, and constant drive for process improvement made him ideally suited to help upgrade, implement, and manage AAI’s Quality Control process, which is approved by AAI’s Tier 1 OEM customer base. AAI QC ensures that only new, authentic, and top quality product enters our OEM customers’ supply chain.

     

    Bob Lietz – Strategic Opportunities and General Counsel

    Bob is responsible for AAI’s strategic opportunities and directing the company’s legal functions. Bob joined AAI in 2009 after serving as an advisor to the company in previous years.

    Bob has significant experience in both business and law. Prior to joining AAI Bob served as Managing Director of the private equity firm Rye Capital Management where he was responsible for all aspects of analyzing and performing due diligence on investment opportunities and overseeing the legal matters for the firm. Bob also provided management advisory services on matters pertaining to business development and strategic growth. Prior to that, he practiced law at two New Hampshire-based law firms, Hamblett & Kerrigan, and Bouchard & Mallory. His practice included general litigation, business and contract disputes, product liability, and employment law.

    Bob earned his Juris Doctorate degree from the Syracuse University School of Law and Bachelor of Science Degree in Public Affairs from Indiana University.

     

    Juan Tucker – Warehouse Manager

    Juan joined AAI in 2009. He has specialized in the Freight Forwarding and Warehouse distribution field for over fifteen years.

    At AAI Juan is responsible for directing, coordinating and planning the storage and distribution of products. Through his experience and enthusiasm Juan provides an outstanding level of supervision and support to AAI’s dedicated warehouse team.
